  • Experience joy in nature

equine clinical therapy

Ages 7+
Often called Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy, it is a mental health therapy that features interactions with horses. A licensed mental health professional facilitates these sessions.

Adding the horses to regular counseling sessions will help clients break down their barriers and open up in a way they cannot in a traditional office setting. Kids and teens will often find success after conventional talk therapy has failed.

We do accept medical insurance for these services.

Find Your Inner Unicorn

Ages 8 to 12
  • Class size: 2 – 4 kids
  •  Spring Session is 8-weeks. Cost: $375.
  • Summer: June Session is 4 weeks. Cost: $200.
  • Summer: July Session is 4-weeks. Cost $375
  • Fall Session is 8-weeks. Cost is $375.

This program is designed for those 8-12 years old who are experiencing increased anxiety and understanding of the world around them. Students will discover how to understand their own emotions and what to do with them. In that the horse is a mirror to our human emotions and actions, the horse will be able to interpret the student’s body language. This reaction will help the student to really ‘see’ themselves. Horses do not negotiate with our emotions and have no judgment.

These experiential sessions go beyond ‘talk therapy’. Students will have plenty of one on one time building a relationship with the horses. Our goal is to meet the student where they are that day at that moment to help them understand who they are. Class size is limited to a minimum of 2 participants and a maximum of 4 per group. There is no riding in this program, but plenty of horsing around.

Please inquire below for Private Lessons or for Parent/Child Lessons.

They will develop trust through asking their horse to be led and ridden. Confidence will increase as they develop horsemanship skills. Class size is limited to allow students to have some control over the activities within the parameters of the daily goals established by the instructor. Minimum of 2 participants and a maximum of 6 per group.
